Mary Catherine Barnhardt was the daughter of Walter Jerome Barnhardt (1889–1974) and Camilla Elizabeth Blackwelder (1891–1973).
Mary married Hugh C. Safrit (born on March 15, 1914; son of Henry Monroe Safrit and Margaret Ann (Cress) Safrit).
Mary died on October 3, 2003 in Concord, North Carolina, United States. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[1]
