Linda Maud Barnett, the daughter of Bertram Barnett and Annie Ethel (Casbolt) Barnett, was born in 1913 in Leongatha, Victoria.^[1]

She married Thomas Patrick McArdle in 1932.^[2]

Linda McArdle died on 29 April 2001 in Ringwood, with age recorded as 85.^[3] She was buried on 4 May 2001 in Springvale Botanical Cemetery.^[4]
