Enos was born in 1837.

In the 1850 census Enos (age 13) was in Neuse (North Side), Wayne, North Carolina, United States.[1]

Enos married Eliz. Tomlinson on 26 December 1854 in North Carolina.[2] In the 1860 census Enos (age 23), Farmer, was in Black Creek, Wilson, North Carolina.[3]

Enos served with the Confederate forces during the US Civil War. He enlisted on 28 April 1862 in Wilson, North Carolina, United States. He was in the Fifty-fifth Infantry.[4]
