Find a Grave, database and images [1]: accessed 21 July 2022), memorial page for George F Barnes (10 Jan 1888–24 Oct 1952), Find A Grave: Memorial #326289, citing Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, USA; Maintained by Bill Hart (contributor 47578214)
Notes
There is a discrepancy in his birth date. Family records and his gravesite show 10 Jan 1888, which would conflict with his brother Edward's date in Sep 1887. The VA Master index lists 10 Jan 1890, and George's entry on his WWII Draft Registration card lists 10 Jan 1891 (scanned copy accessed at ancestry.com). I've entered the 1891 date, but uncertain, as that's from George's own hand
