Thomas was born about 1450. He passed away in 1503.
Thomas Barnardiston, of Ketton, Suffolk, and of Great Coates, Lincs, knight, was the son of Thomas Barnardiston and Alice Vavasour. He married Elizabeth Newport, the daughter of George Newport, of Brent Pelham, Herts, and their son and heir was Thomas Barnardiston.[1]
In 1492 Thomas Barnardeston and his wife Elizabeth, and others, were involved in a land conveyance by Final Concord concerning property at Great Coates and Little Coates, Lincs. [2]
Thomas "Barneston" was knighted on 14 November 1501, at the marriage of Prince Arthur.[3]
The IPMs of Thomas Barnardiston, knight, were held on the second to last day of November, 19 Henry VII (for Wiltshire), and on 1 December, 19 Henry VII (for Lincolnshire) (1503). He died on 29 June, 1503, seised of the manors of East Grafton, Wilts, and Great Coates, Lincs. Thomas Barnardiston, aged 23 and more, was his son and heir.[4]
In 1514 Elizabeth Barnardyston, widow of Thomas Barnardyston, knight, was a plaintiff for debt in Common Pleas.[5]
