"Mrs. Myra D. B. Johnson, 87, widow of the late Dr. Howard E. Johnson of East Lansing Michigan, died at her home on June 8th after a short illness. Born in Cherry Valley on July 14, 1886, she was the daughter of Sylvester W. and Mary E. Daniels Barnum. Funeral Services were held in East Lansing on Tuesday, June 11th and burial was made in the Cherry Valley Cemetery on June 17th at 2 p.m., the Rev. Mervyn Morse, pastor of the Congregational Church of Southhampton, Mass. officiated. She is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Carl (Elizabeth) DeZeuw of Fayetteville, N.Y. and two sons: Dr. David Johnson, Okemos, Mich., and Dr. Richard Johnson of East Lansing, Mich., by thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Arrangements in Cherry Valley were by the Ottman Funeral Home."
