Biography
Grace Odessa Barlow was born on 10 April 1928 in Alabama, United States.[1] She was the daughter of John Curtis Barlow and Bertha Nell (Potts) Barlow (1897 - 1998).
She was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1930 and 1940 United States Censuses. On both, she and her family were living in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.[2][3]
Marriages:
- Grace Odessa Barlow and Kenneth Lee Slavick were married on 13 June 1947 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.[4] Odessa and Kenneth Slavick were enumerated together on the 1950 United States Census. At the time they were the parents of two children, both of whom may still be living. They were making their home at 903 Cloverdale Street in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.[5]
- Grace's second husband was (Possibly Living) Meyer. Because of the possibility that he is still alive, details are not provided here.[6]
- At the time of her death, Grace was using the surname "Hollister." Online family trees at other sites indicate that her third husband's name was George E. Hollister and that he died in 2002. Records for this marriage were not located online.
Grace Odessa (Barlow) Hollister passed away on 15 April 2011 at the age of 83. According to Social Security Records her last place of residence was in Sebring, Highlands County, Florida.[1] A full obituary was not located nor was a Find a Grave memorial located. Details of her death and burial, other than the date, were not located.
