David Elias Barker was born about 28 Nov 1867 in North Carolina, United States.

David (~20) married Mary Magdelene Brooks (~27) in 1888. Their children were:

  1. William Rufus Barker (1893 - 1979)
  2. Vance Pierce Barker (1895 - 1976)
  3. Oscar Dewey Barker (1901 - 1969).

David died on 2 Aug 1922 in Gastonia Township, Gaston, North Carolina aged 54.
