Annie was born about 1871. She is the daughter of Samuel Bargh and Agnes Townson.

In the 1891 census Annie (age 19), Farmers Daughter, was the single daughter of Samuel Bargh Junior in Burrow-with-Burrow, Lancashire, England.[2]
Annie married Frank Clarke Bownass (age 28) on 6 April 1893 in Leck, Lancashire, England.[3][4]
In the 1901 census Annie (age 29) was the wife of Frank C Bownass in Middleton, Westmorland, England.[5]
In the 1911 census Annie (age 49) was the wife of Frank Clarks Bownass in Middleton, Westmorland, England.[6]
Annie died on 28 January 1937 and their estate passed probate on 3 March 1937 in Westmorland, England.[7]
