Baptism

Anne Charlotte Barbot was baptised 2 September 1691 at La Patente French Huguenot Church, Spitalfields, London, England. The baptism record gives her birth date as 26 Aug 1691, her parents as Jean Barbot and Charlotte Susanne Drelincourt, her god parents as Jaques Barbot and Anne Marie Drelincourt, and the minister as Baignoux.^[1]

Marriage

According to this transcription, Anna Charlote Barbot and Steeven Abell Lavoll were married on 31 Jul 1720 at Southampton Holy Rhood, Hampshire, England. ^[2]

A marriage licence was issued by the Bishop of Winchester: - Lavel, Stephen-Abel, of Twyford, clerk, b., & Anna-Charlotta Barbot, of Southampton, sp., at Godshouse, Southampton, 29 July, 1720.^[3]

Death

Charlotte Lavall was buried at St Marylebone, Middlesex, England on 10 May 1774.^[4] No other details are in the register, although she was not marked as a child, so it is not certain that this is Anne Charlotte. However, Anne Charlotte was recorded in the register, of Peter Street Dublin, as Charlotte Laval at the baptism of her daughter Elizabet Charlote on 13 Oct 1728.^[5] Also, Anne Charlotte Laval was named as Charlotta Laval when her mother's will was proved: - By the Oath of Charlotta Laval (the wife of the Reverend Stephen Abel Laval Clerk) the daughter of the deceased.^[6] Also, her mother was living at St Marylebone in 1743 and her son Daniel was in St Marylebone in 1781.
