Biography
Emmanuel Winfield Bandy was born in 1873 in North Carolina, United States, son of Theodore Lafayette Bandy (1853 - 1924) and Sarah Elizabeth (Drum) Bandy (1855 - 1945).
In the 1880 census Emanuel (age 6) was the single son of T. L. Bandy in Caldwells, Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[1]
In the 1900 census Emanuel (age 26), Bookkeeper, was the single boarder of John W Goode in Richmond, Marshall Ward, Richmond City, Virginia.[2]
Emmanuel married Lola Belle Wagner (died in North Carolina) in North Carolina.[3][4]
In the 1910 census Emanuel (age 36), Clerk, was the married head of household in Richmond Marshall Ward, Richmond (Independent City), Virginia, United States.[5]
Emanuel was in a military record in 1917-1918 in Richmond, Wise, Virginia, United States.[6]
In the 1920 census Emanuel (age 46), Credit Man, was the married head of household in Brookland, Henrico, Virginia.[7]
In the 1930 census Emanuel (age 56), Manager, was the married head of household in Highland ave n.e., Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States.[8]
In the 1940 census Emanuel (age 61), Salesman, was the married head of household in Montgomery, Maryland.[9]
Emanuel was in a military record in Norfolk, Virginia, United States.[10]
In the 1950 census Emanuel (age 76) was the married head of household in Buckhead, Fulton, Georgia, United States.[11]
Emmanuel died 21 June 1950 after being hit by a car in North Carolina aged ~77.[12][13]
