CENSUS INFORMATION: In the 1841 UK Census of Redruth, she is recorded as Prudence Bonds, aged 6 and born in county. She is living with her mother, four sisters and two brothers in Bullers Row, Redruth. (HO107/143, Folio 17, Page 31). In the 1851 UK Census, she is listed as Prudence Bands, aged 17 and born in Redruth. She is living at 45 Bullers Row, Redruth, with her widowed mother, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. (HO107/1915, Folio 10, Page 13). In the 1861 UK Census, she is listed as Prudence M Bands, a Seamstress aged 27 and born in Redruth. She is living in Bullers Row, Redruth with her widowed mother and 2 sisters. (RG 9/1579, Folio 12, Page 17).

MIGRATION: She emigrated to Australia, via the USA, with her husband and 2 children (Records #617 and #628) aboard the "Gosford", arriving in Adelaide on 25 December 1865.
