John Baldwin was born in Massachusetts.

John, the second of this name and ninth of ten children of John Baldwin and Sarah Heywood was born on 21 January 1707 at Billerica, Massachusetts.^[1]

Marriage and Children

John married Sarah Hill (1703-1791), the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Page) Hill on 4 May 1726 at Billerica, Massachusetts.^[2]They had eight children born at Billerica:

• Baldwin lists John Baldwin's death date as 24 October 1738 and occupation as husbandman (farmer); however, this death date is unlikely given that their last child was born in 1743 at Billerica. It is likely that the year should have been 1748; however, further evidence is required.
