Ironton Register: Jan 19, 1899 Killed at church, James Robert Baldwin, son of preacher Jarvis Baldwin

18 Jan 1899, Kitts Hill, Lawrence County, Ohio Mamre church, that stands on a spur of Kitts Hill and only a few rods from the road was the scene of an awful homicide last Thursday night. Rev. Jarvey BALDWIN is the pastor there, and held services at the church that night. In the congregation was his son, Robert BALDWIN, also Salmon FERRELL and Charles WEBB.
