Alice Catherine Baker was born on 11 May 1893 in Chelmsford, Essex, England, United Kingdom, daughter of Henry Peear Baker (1868-abt.1952) and Ada Gertrude (Pilley) Baker (abt.1870-abt.1948).[1]

In 1901, Alice C (8) was a daughter in the household of Henry P Baker (33) in Chelmsford registration district in Essex, England. [2]

In 1911, Alice Catherine (18), was a single daughter, School Teacher, in the household of Henry Peear Baker (43) in Chelmsford registration district in Essex, England. [3]

Alice (25) married Richard John Redshaw (37) (born about 1881 in Kilham, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom; son of Aaron (Readshaw) Redshaw) on 9 April 1919 in New Zealand.[4] Their known children were :

  1. Lois Catherine (Redshaw) Goodrick (1920-2011)
  2. Ruth Mary (Redshaw) Martin (1922-2008)
  3. Richard Percival Redshaw (22 January 1924 – 31 October 1987)

Alice died on 27 January 1924 in Tokatoka, Northland, New Zealand, aged 30.[5] She was buried in Arapohue Cemetery, Arapohue, Kaipara District, Northland.[6][7][8]
