Biography

Daughter of Clarence Elmer Baker and Lora Ellen Michael.

She married Fred Mason (1916-2009) in 1937 in Marion County.^[1]

In 1940 they had a son Garry Mason, age 2.^[2]

She was born in Mannington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clarence Elmer and Lora Ellen Michael Baker. Mrs. Mason was a retired bookkeeper for Fox and Mason Foods and had previously worked for New Martinsville Wholesale Distributing Grocery Co. She was a member of Stephenson United Methodist Church since 1949 and was a member of the United Methodist Women and Suzannah Wesley Circle, a member of Eastern Star Chapter 50 of New Martinsville, the Worthington Golf Club for over 30 years and the Golf Club of West Virginia.^[3]
