Research Notes

Received an email
"Did you find an actual grave for Syrus at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, Portland, Oregon?
Because his death announcement has him at Lincoln Memorial Park.
I have been to Lincoln and they have him in an unmarked grave purchased by my Great Grandmother at the back of the park." The sender, Windy Bolger (winmcwin com),

Since we have an obit that states, "Commitment Lincoln Memorial Park." guess we will move the place of burial there. Unless, and until someone gets a photo of headstone. The cemeteries are 8.6 miles away from each other.
