Biography

Hugh Baird was the manager of the downtown Seattle Ford dealership. Hugh Baird collected paintings, such as "Mount Rainier at Sunset" by Frederick Ferdinand Schaefer (1900-1909).

During the Depression, Hugh was a rock of economic stability for members of his extended family, including his niece Lidablanche (Robe) McLeod.
