Josephine Eveline Baham was born on January 18, 1812 in the Territory of Orleans before statehood as Louisiana, USA, a daughter of Jean Baptiste Baham (~1773–1827) and Mariana Raby (1792–1859).
Josephine married Ursin Lavielle Baham (born on June 6, 1801 in New Orleans, Louisiana; son of René Baham and Isabella Antoinette (Milon) Baham).
