Henry Louis Baham was born on 22 March 1916^[1] at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA. He appeared on the census of 3 Jan. 1920 in the household of his parents, Alexander Baham and Anita B. (Lefrere) Baham, at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[2] He appeared on the census of 7 April 1930 in the household of his parents at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[3] He appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 in the household of his parents at Main St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[4]

He married Irene Mary Heisser, daughter of August Heisser and Felicie (Leclerc) Heiser, on 7 Sep 1940.^[5][6]

He began military service in the US Army on 7 Aug. 1945 at New Orleans, Louisiana.^[7]
