Octave Baham was born Feb. 1864 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1][2] He appeared on the census of 11 June 1870 in the household of his parents, Pedro Baham and Mary Virginia (Beer) Baham, at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[3] He appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in the household of his parents at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[4]
He married, his first cousin one time removed, Emma Sardy, daughter of Louis Sardy and Emma (Baham) Sardy, on 29 Oct. 1887 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[5][6][2]
He was a ship carpenter when he and Emma appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1] He was a carpenter when he and Emma appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 at Main St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[7] He was caulker when he and Emma appeared on the census of 3 Jane 1920 at Pine St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[8] He was carpenter at a shipyard when he and Emma appeared on the census of 7 April 1930 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[9]
Octave died on 19 Feb. 1938 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana[2] and was buried at [[:Category: |Madisonville Cemetery, Madisonville, Louisiana|Madisonville Cemetery]], Main St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with Emma and their son Lero.[10]
