Biography

Daughter of Charles Baer and Ida Fierstein. Her father was born in Austria and her mother in Russia.

Esther was age 7 in 1910. Her parents were listed in the census as natives of Russia; her father's parents were from Austria. Brother Samuel was age 15 b Mass.; brother Harry was age 13; brother Max was age 9; sister Etta was age 3; brother Abraham was age 2. Malden ward 7, Middlesex, Massachusetts.^[1]

She was age 16 in 1920, living in Malden, Mass. with her parents, both age 45, and siblings Max, Abraham and Ethel.^[2]

Esther Baer married Nathan Winnerman, son of Morris Winnerman and Ida Weinstein, 29 June 1922 in Cambridge, Mass.^[3]They were married by Rabbi Aaron Gorovitz.

In 1930 Esther Winnerman was age 28; her husband Nathan was age 39, b Russia. They were in Chelsea, Suffolk, Mass. with sons Milton, age 7 and Arnold, age 6.^[4]

Esther Mulvey was age 36 in 1940; she and her husband Thomas Mulvey were in Framingham.^[5]

In 1950 Esther Mulvey was a retail cosmetics saleslady in Malden, Massachusetts.^[6]

MULVEY – Esther (Baer), 90, of Tamarac, formerly of Malden, MA, passed away on Friday, November 26, 1993. Beloved mother of Sonny Winnerman and the late Beebe Winnerman. Grandmother of seven; and great grandmother of 11. Services will be in MA.^[7]
