Josiah Bacon was born on 24 September 1766 in present-day Scarborough, Maine. He was the eldest child of Nathaniel and Affia (or Apphia) Bacon.[1]
Josiah Bacon married Lucy Hopkins March 27 1788 as based on their marriage notice.[2]
Josiah married his second wife Hannah Hamblen of Standish on March 11 1838, she died Dec 24 1845.
