Jane was born in 1816. Jane Bachelor[1]
She married James Fitness on 16 July 1836 in Frant, Sussex [2]
On 9 October 1856 James, his wife Jane (nee Bachelor) and their 5 children sailed to New Zealand on the ship ‘Euphemus’ with James’ parents Thomas and Elizabeth arriving in Auckland on 12 Feb1857.[3][4]
