Marie Louise Emmanuelle Bacar, daughter of Jean Baptiste Bacar and Marie Louise Catherine Landrone was born on January 13, 1783 in or near New Orleans, Louisiana, New Spain. Her baptism was recorded by the Spanish priest at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans.^[1]

Marie Louise Emmanuelle (17) married Dominique Cosse (37) (born about 1762 in Paris, France) on February 17, 1800 in New Orleans.^[2]

Their known children were:

• Marie Josephe Victoire Cosse (1802–1875)
• Jean-Baptiste Theodore Solomon Cosse (1804– )
