Biography

Robert E. Ayle was born in Franklin County, Ohio on May 19, 1921 to Roy and Edna Dougherty Ayle. He was the oldest of four known children born to the couple.

Robert was raised rural Madison County, Ohio before moving with his family to Blendon, Ohio. He worked on the family farm as a young man. On October 15, 1940 he enlisted in the National Guard as a military police officer.

By 1947, Robert was living in Columbus, Ohio and working as a salesman. In Glenford, Ohio on November 16, 1947 he married Virginia (Swinehart) Ayle. The couple had at least one known child, a son.

The family moved to Hillsborough County, Florida some time between 1947 and 1958. Virginia divorced Robert in April 1958 in Hillsborough County.

Robert passed away in Hillsborough County, Florida on December 26, 1984. He was 63 years old.
