Biography

Thomas was born about 1711. He was the son of John Axford and Anne Comelyn. He passed away in 1778. His wife was Mary and she died in 1777 and was buried 22 Jun 1777 in Little Cheverell, Wiltshire, England. In his will at Little Cheverell in 1778 he states “I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Penelope Axford all my antient silver coins which I keep in a small box in remembrance of me, the same being given me by my aunt Susannah Comlyn in rememberence of her”. He also mentioned his brother James and nephews Alfred and George.
