Thomas D Augustus was born in 1834 in Union Township, Ross, Ohio, United States, son of Springer Augustus (1804–1851) and Lucretia Jane Jenkins (1805–1878).[1]
In 1850, Thomas D (15) was in the household of his father, Springer, in Union, Ross, Ohio. [2]
Thomas (20) married Elizabeth Ann Abernathy (16) (born on June 2, 1839 in Union Township) on November 10, 1855 in Ross. Their children were:
