11/13/17 I’m pretty sure that Marcellous F Awbrey (1844 - 1905) is my Great Great Grandfather, Marcellus Flournoy Awbrey (1844 - 1905). There are 2 pages for him and I think the proper spelling of his name is the latter. Marcellus Flournoy Awbrey is father to M.W. “Mort” Awbrey AKA Marcus West Awbrey. (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/140943824/M.-W.-Awbrey) Mort is father to George R. Awbrey AKA Bob Awbrey AKA Robby G. Awbrey (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/140943867/george-r.-awbrey#) Bob Awbrey is father to Jack Wesley Aubrey (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/41617857/jack-wesley-Aubrey) The U is correct. Said to have been changed while enlisting in the Air Force. Why is not known. Jack is my father. He has two sons and a daughter(me) and a granddaughter by the oldest son. We are all Aubreys. The oldest son and daughter have the same mother. The youngest son has a different mother. If you have any other info, I would like to hear about it and I can tell you what I know. Rikki Aubrey

But I think maybe it would be best if you posted a G2G question asking for help - tag it DNA at least. The DNA project folks that monitor G2G are REALLY helpful (but I think they're active on weekends more than weekdays, so be paitient :D).

Unfortunately, information was recently received by unconfirmed relative in Germany that Böse took her own life while in a mental hospital in Munich, Germany in 1993.
David Selman Still working on getting back from the holiday but I will be catching up soon. Everybody's been so nice with offers to help and I may just take everyone up on their offers. Think I need to read everything again before I ask more questions though. I'm pretty sure I can follow my Dad's line back pretty far back but I have to gather my sources together before I continue with that I also haven't gotten all the permissions from family that I would like to add. I'm thinking that I will probably have to leave them as private but existing. Thanks! Rikki

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?
Thank you, David ~ WikiTree Mentor
You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try!
On your Followed Tags - you need to make a separate one for each spelling of the name. Look on my profile Stuart Awbrey to see some of the other tags you may want to add at some point. One word of caution - adding the tag "Wales" will give you many notices of change to the Wales family that has nothing to do with Awbreys. There is no way to distinguish the family from the country.
You are now confirmed as a full member! Please start with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles. We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree community!

PS Looks like you have a family reunion going here! Great that you have family members to help you along the way, especially Liz!
I have found some Aubrey/Awbreys in Oklahoma, but not the ones you mentioned. I have a book on KY Aubreys and will check there. Still researching. Will write again.
