Hej Torkel!

Jag kan se att du har redigerat Anders Theodor Lysanders profil (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lysander-4). Jag har "övergett" profilen nu, om du vill adoptera den. Vh. E.

Hi, Torkel

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Hello Torkel,

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.

Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.

If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email adress for WikiTree is one you actually still use.

Thank you!

Hi Missy,

thanks for reaching out to me.

I havn´t got any or seen any private messages from the Nordic Project during the last 6 months.

In Ancestry I have about 3 000 relatives. Many of those are not in Wikitree. Need help to import the data to Wikitree in a correct way. I can produce a GEDCOM-file of course. Havn´t found instructions in Wikitree in detail how to perform a partial import.

Please, I need instructions and help!

Kindest regards,

/Torkel

Source-a-Thon is a joint effort to reduce the amount of unsourced profiles on WikiTree.

The event will be held 8 AM (ET) September 28 - 8 AM (ET) October 1. (That would be 15.00 in Finland and 14.00 in the other Scandinavian countries.)

If you would like to help us, please answer this G2G thread Have you registered for the source-a-thon yet? indicating you would like to join Spic-n-Span Scandinavians. More information on Spic-n-Span Scandinavians - Source-a-Thon

Torkel, hello, and thanks for your note, which I received today. If possible I'd like to be in your trusted list so I can see your von Berg line. I only know of one family name (presumably) beyond that in my tree and it has to do with Carl von Berg marrying a woman in the Sallmann line, which one of the living Sallmann men is "sure " that is in error. I am very interested in finding Carl (who is not likely to be the fairly famous forest scientist). I probably only need to see your families once or twice and then you'll be able to close that door again. In either case, please understand I thank you truly for your work. All of us help, just by being here on Wikitree.

Hello Torkel,

Feel very welcome to WikiTree! I hope you will like it here as much as I do.

The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any other genealogy site.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

Feel free to explore. We hope you will help us to grow our BIG tree by volunteering to add your own branches.

When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests. Just fill in the Tags and comments and click the "Save and Volunteer" button. Then one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.

Astrid, WikiTree Greeter, The Netherlands
