Arthur Patterson Atherton was born on October 30, 1864 in Queensland, Australia, son of James Atherton (1830–1903) and Mary Patterson (~1831–1887).[1]
Arthur (40) married Christina Swan Wylie (32) (born on April 2, 1873 in Brisbane, Queensland; daughter of James Wylie and Mary Newlands (Malcolm) Wylie) on October 29, 1905 in Queensland. Their children were:
