Biography
Archie was born in 1918. He was the son of Charles Ashman and Cora Wright. He passed away in 2011.
Obituary
Archie Elmer Ashman, 93, of Burwell died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Friendship Home Assisted Living in Burwell. Archie was born May 16, 1918, in Burwell to Charley and Cora (Wright) Ashman.
On May 9, 1937, he married Gladyce Nightingale in Burwell. She died Feb. 8, 1993.
Survivors are: sons, Dick of Kearney, Mick of Lincoln, Carl of Minden and Bruce of Ponder, Texas; daughters, Millie Troxel of Pawnee City, Sally Burns of Atkinson and Roxanna Lahrs of Lincoln; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Cottonwood Cemetery, Burwell, NE.[1]
