Obituary

Thurman Ashley, 69, of Bee Spring died at 5 a.m. Oct. 29, 2001, at his home. The Edmonson County native was a carpenter and a member of Carpenter Local 3223 in Elizabethtown. He was a son of the late Elmer Ashley and Ora Mae Rich Ashley and husband of the late Linda Ann Meredith Ashley.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hubsfield Holiness Church, where he was a member, with burial in Hubsfield Church Cemetery in Bee Spring. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Patton Funeral Home and will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include three sons, Timmy Ashley and Todd Ashley, both of Bee Spring, and Terry Ashley of Mammoth Cave; a daughter, Stacy Ashley of Bee Spring; a brother, Miner Ashley of Anneta; and eight grandchildren.

Burial: Hubsfield Apostolic Church Cemetery, Bee Spring, Edmonson County, Kentucky
