Catherine Ashley was born in 1811.

Catherine married Charles William Dixon Chapman Ward (born on October 3, 1809 in New Brunswick; son of Nehemiah Ward Jr. and Elizabeth (Chapman) Ward). Their known children were:

In 1871, Catherine (59) was in the household of Charles Ward in Saint Mary, Kent, New Brunswick. [1]

In 1881, Catherine (69) was in the household of Charles Ward in Wellington, Kent. [2]

In 1891, Catherine (79) was living in Wellington, Kent. [3]

Catherine died on January 31, 1898 in New Brunswick, Canada, aged 86. She was buried in Hillside Cemetery.[4]
