Salome married Elbert Gnann[2] about 1842.[3][4] They had 2 children, Sarah and Florence.[4][5] In 1880, Elbert, Salome and their daughter Sarah are living in Savannah.[6]
Salome applied for a confederate civil war pension.[7]
By 1900, Salome is running a boarding house in Savannah.[1] Her daughter Florence is living with her and designated single, although there are a number of grandchildren living in the household whose surnames are all recorded as Gnann.[1]
