Served in the Peninsula War, April 1810 to April 1814. Present at Campo Mayor, Albuere, Usagre, Alba de Tormes, Vittoria, Garris, Orthes, Aire, St Gaudens, and Toulouse.

Later Staff Surgeon at Portsmouth Garrison.
