Margaret was born in 1769. She was the daughter of William and Ann Armstrong, a loyalist family who fled to the Bahama Islands from North Carolina during the American Revolution.[1]
Alexander Campbell Wylly was on the list of Loyalists banned from Georgia in 1783. He fled to the Bahamas where he married Margaret Armstrong on 10 Jan 1787 in Abaco at Spencer’s Bight.[2] They received land grants there but immigrated back to Georgia about 1803.[3]
Susannah Cunningham Wylly (1788-1829) never married. She died in Georgia 19 Oct 1829.[5]

In the 1850 census the widowed Margaret (age 79) was in Glynn, Georgia, United States.[6]
Margaret passed away in 1850 at St Simon's Island, Georgia. Burial was in the Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery, Saint Simons Island, Glynn County, Georgia.[1]
Margaret's estate passed probate on 11 November 1850.[7]
