James Huie Armstrong was born on August 12, 1876 in Colony of Queensland, son of Peter Brown Palmyra Armstrong (1839–1882) and Christina Harvey Hutton (1847–1885).[1]

James (30) married Jane Frances Jessie Lewis (23) (born on March 2, 1883 in Queensland) in 1907 in Queensland.[2]

James died on February 20, 1953 in Nambour, Queensland, Australia, aged 76. He was buried in Nambour General Cemetery, Nambour, Queensland.[3]
