Biography
Elizabeth was baptised at St Alkelda, Giggleswick, on 23 July 1587, "Elizabetha f(ilia) Christoferi Armetsted".[1]
Elizabeth was mentioned in the will of her uncle Robert Bankes in 1613: "I also give to Elizabeth Armitstead my sister’s daughter 20s".[2]
