Biography
George was born in 1809.[1] He was the son of Robert A. Armistead and Frances Heslope.[1] He married twice: Alice Virginia Fontaine in 1831 and later Jane Forsyth.[1] He passed away in 1866 in Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama, at age 56.[1]
