Captain Ellison Armistead served with Northampton County Militia, Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

Ellison married SUSANNA CHRISTIAN per his DAR record. They married on April 5, 1780/5 in Northampton, VA. [1] Susanna was the daughter of Michael Christian and Patience Michael, was born circa 1762. Susanna died before 14 October 1811.
