Ely (Archer) Belshaw was born in Nottinghamshire, England.
Ely (Archer) Belshaw was a pioneer settler in Oregon.
Ely (Archer) Belshaw was involved in the westward expansion of the USA (Oregon Trail). See Trails and Wagon Trains.
Elizabeth was born in Nottinghamshire, England probably in 1788. She was baptized 9 January 1789 in Saint Mary the Virgin, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. [1]
She married George Belshaw 16 November 1810 in Cotgrave, All Saints, Nottinghamshire, England.[2]
She immigrated to America with her huisband and children aboard the ship Harold. They departed Liverpool, England and arrived in New York City 22 May 1934.[3]
Elizabeth was a member of the wagon train led by her son George Jr. that travel from Lake County, Indiana to the Willamette Valley, Oregon along the Oregon Trail.
She passed away at the home of her son Thomas 7 June 1867 in Eugene, Oregon.[4]
