Marianne Armina Arcenaux was born on February 12, 1831 in Lafourche Parish, Bayou Black, Louisiana, daughter of Uberville Arcenaux (~1801–~1865).

Armina (14) married Hypolite Lancon (22) (born on December 22, 1822 in Bayou Black, Terrebonne; son of Philippe Lancon and Marie Anne Hebert) on April 28, 1845 in Lafourche Parish.^[1] Their children were:

• Hilaire Folse Lancon (1848–1913)
• Rosa Lancon (1850– )
• Surville Lucien Lancon (1853–1922)
• Georgina (1855-1930)^[2]

In the 1860 census Ermina (age 30) lived with her husband Hypolite (age 35), farmer, real estate $1500, personal property $400, their sons Ovile (age 14), Folse (age 12), Lucin (age 10), Odile (age 8), Orestile (age 6) and Agienna (age 4) at 12th Ward, Terrebonne, Louisiana, United States.^[5]

In the 1880 census Ermina (age 60), Nurse, widowed, lived with her son James Lancon (age 20) and daughter Daulis (age 18) at 2nd Ward, St Mary, Louisiana, United States.^[6]

In the 1900 census Arminer (age 83) widowed, lived with her son-in-law Desire Meyer (age 51), daughter Odalie (age 51), and their seven children in Ward 2 Isle Piquante, Iberia, Louisiana, United States.^[7]

Armina died about 1901 in St. Mary, Louisiana, United States.^[8]
