Biography
This profile is part of the Arbuthnot Name Study.
George was born in about 1864. He was the son of George Arbuthnot and Anne Ballantine.
He married Welsh born Elizabeth Lloyd at St. Katharine's Anglican Church, Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
They had at least three children (with two possibly being adopted).
George died as the result of a mining accident in 1912 in South Africa. He was about 48 years of age.[1] His son George was only 2 years of age.
