Biagia Aprile is born around 1815 in Corleone, the daughter of Bernardo Aprile and Giuseppa Russo.
Giuseppa has died by the beginning of 1834, when the Church's census, the stato delle anime, is taken. Bernardo Aprile, 63 (b. 1771), a widower, and his children Antonino, 21 (b. 1813), Biagia, 19 (b. 1815), and Vito, 5 (b. 1829), appear on the strada Grande between the Cortile di Basile (a cortile is a courtyard: there’s a via Basile in the SW quarter of Corleone) and an unnamed vanella (an alley).[1]
Biagia marries Vito d’Aguanno, son of Michaele d’Aguanno and Rosa Franco, and widower of Salvatrice Cavallo, on 4 November 1839. Her father has also died by this time.[2]
Biagia and Vito have at least one child, Domenica (c. 1857).
Domenica marries Michaelangelo Zabbia on 11 February 1877.[3]
Death
Biagia dies of pneumonia at the reported age of 69 on 6 April 1885 in the Spedale dei Bianchi di Corleone. She is predeceased by her husband, Vito, and her parents.[4]
