George Washington Antoine^[1] was a Black physician in Texas who served as an army doctor in the 370th Infantry Regiment of 93rd Division during World War I. ^[2][3]

George Antoine, son of Lee Antoine and Maria Coleman^[4], was born on November 26, 1878 in Chenango, Brazoria County, Texas, according to his death certificate^[5].

He first married Lottie Voliver^[6], then after her passing, married Zelma Newman. He died of a heart attack on August 17, 1939, at the age of 60, and was buried in Paradise Cemetery in Houston^[7].
