The daughter of Chester Antle and Lucille Gifford, Patricia was born in Athens, Athens County, Ohio on 1941.
She married Gerald Eugene Smith (Find A Grave: Memorial #20825150), the son of Elmer Smith and Mildred L. McGiliton.
Patricia passed away on 12 Feb 2009 in Texas. She is buried in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA. [1]
"JUSTIN, Texas — Patricia Jean Antle Smith, 67, a native of Athens [Ohio] and a resident of Justin, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009.
Patricia Smith was the fourth of five children, born to the late Chester Edmond Antle and the late Lucille Yvonne Gifford in Athens [Ohio]. Patricia was known as “the voice of Central Freight Lines” where she worked as a phone operator for more than 23 years.
Survivors include sons Gerald “Sonny” Smith and Raymond “R.J.” Smith, both of Justin; grandchildren Joey, Nickie and Jamie; great-grandson J.J.; and siblings Rodney Antle, Ernie Antle and his wife Ann, Sharon Smith and her husband Kurt, and Steve “Phillip” Antle.
Visitation was held today. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas, where she will be buried with her husband, the late Gerald Smith.
