Biography

John Angier was born on 1 Oct 1723 at Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts,[1][2] the son of Joseph Angier and Elizabeth Bruce.[3][2][3], [4], [5], [6]

John "Ainnger" married Bethiah Lyscom on 21 Feb 175[1-]2 at Southborough.[7][8] [9], [10], [11], [12], [13], [14] They had at least the following children:

  • Hannah Angier, b. 18 Aug 1767
  • Calvin Angier, b. 15 .Oct 1769
  • Elizabeth Angier, b. 19 April 1772
  • Luther Angier, b. 21 Aug 1775

He died on 3 Aug 1793 at Southborough, Worcester, Massachusetts.[15][7][16], [17] He is buried at the Old Burial Ground Cemetery in Southborough, although there is no gravestone.[18]

Will:[19] John Angier made his Will on 4 July 1793. It was filed on 29 Aug 1793 and allowed on 1 Oct 1793. Mary, wife of John Angier, renounced her interest in John's estate prior to John's death. The Will was witnessed by John Newton, Francis Fay and Ezra Taylor. In his Will, John mentioned:

  • daughters Lydia Bragg, Mitte Horne, Hannah Taylor, Elizabeth
  • sons John Angier, Luther Angier, Charles Angier, Calvin Angier
  • sons Charles and Calvin to be Executors

Edwin Priest
Angier-241 and Angier-108 appear to represent the same person because: I created Angier-241 based on the appearance that not the same person as Angier-108 due to Angier-108 DOB, which is unsourced in the profile.

Angier-241 DOB is sourced with several references, so I have a high degree of confidence about the correct DOB, thus believe these two Johns to be the same person.
