Biography
Charles Angier was born in Southborough, Worcester, Massachusetts, on 6 Jan 1806, the son of Charles and Elizabeth Angier.[1] (His death record shows that he was the son of Charles and Harriet Angier.[2] This is incorrect. Harriet was his wife, not his mother.)
Harriet Eliza Belknap and Charles Angier were married on 26 Oct 1834 at Southborough.[1] A Notice of the marriage had been published in Lunenburg, Worcester, Massachusetts, on 16 Oct 1834.[3] They had at least the following children, born at Royalston unless otherwise noted:[4]
- Charles Myron, b. 15 June 1836; m1. Anna Maria Richards 30 May 1860 at Southborough[5]; m2. Emma Louise Brigham 12 Nov 1903 at Southborough[6]
- Harlan Page, b. 23 Sept 1838
- Elizabeth Ann, b. 21 April 1840
- Aldora, b. 12 July 1844
- child, b. ca. 1845/46 (Same as Nancy???)
- Nancy, b. ca. 1846; d. Eusebe Leger; d. 5 June 1906 at Worcester[7]
- Sorena, b. 2 Jan 1848; m. first cousin Philander A. Angier 16 Nov 1869 at Marlborough[8].
- Wayland, b. 29 July 1850 at Royalston; d. 6 May 1915 at Oakham, Massachusetts[9]
He died on 21 June 1881 at Southborough[2] and is buried at the Southborough Rural Cemetery, Southborough, Worcester, Massachusetts.[10]
