Alfred was born in Adelaide, South Australia during 1860. He was the son of John Angell and Mary Hawkins. He passed away in Prospect, South Australia during 1897.
Alfred married Zella Jane Hall in Morgan, South Australia on 22 March 1885.[1] The following marriage notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Express and Telegraph, on 24 June 1885:[2]
ANGELL—HALL.—On the 22nd March, 1885, by licence, at the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev. Samuel Raymond, Alfred Angell, of Prospect, to Zella Jane, eldest daughter of Mr. John Hall, of Morgan.
Alfred died in Prospect, South Australia on 27 November 1897 at the age of 37 years.[3]. The following death notice appeared in the South Australian newspaper, The Express and Telegraph , on 29 January 1897:[4]
ANGELL.—On the 27th November, at his. residence, Prospect, Alfred F. Angell, blacksmith, dearly loved husband of Zella Angell and son-in-law of Mrs. Hall, Tynte-street, N.A. (formerly of Morgan), leaving a wife and four young children to mourn their sad loss.
Alfred was buried at the North Road Cemetery in Nailsworth, South Australia. [5]
